Working with the Agence de l’efficacité énergétique (AEE)
As regards the application of its contract policy, the AEE is committed to respecting and promoting the following principles:
- transparency in the contractual process;
- fair and honest dealings with bidders;
- possibility for qualified bidders to participate in any call for tenders made by the AEE;
- implementation of efficient and effective procedures, including an appropriate, rigorous pre-evaluation assessment of needs that takes into account governmental orientations as regards the environment and sustainable development;
- implementation of systems to ensure quality assurance regarding the provision of supplies, delivery of services or any construction work required by the AEE;
- charge-and-discharge statements based on accountability;
- proper use of monies received for carrying out the Agency’s mission.
The purpose of the AEE’s contract policy (PDF | 84 ko, in French) is to determine the conditions for granting any contracts that the AEE may conclude with a supplier, i.e. a legal person established for a private interest, a general partnership, a limited partnership, a participating company, a sole proprietorship, a firm staffed for the most part by disabled persons, or an individual who does not own or operate a business.
