Please take note that some changes have been made to the program and that they apply to all new requests received since December 8, 2010.
- Financial assistance for research, experimentation, development, or upgrade and transfer activities performed in college or university research centres has been increased to 75 % of eligible expenses (formerly 25%). The maximum amount for this type of activity remains the same, namely $100,000.
- The condition limiting the Department to accept only one project per fiscal year (from April 1st to March 31st) from the same applicant does not apply to projects involving solely research, experimentation, development, upgrade or transfer activities.
- Costs incurred by the applicant may now be eligible from the date the request is received by the Department. The project must be accepted and the costs incurred must be recognized as eligible expenses by the Department within the scope of the agreement entered into with the applicant.
