Refrigeration Optimization Program (OPTER) - Supermarket Component

Are you the owner of a supermarket refrigeration system? Want to optimize this system while cutting down the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions it produces? If you answered “Yes,” then the Refrigeration Optimization Program – Supermarket Component is for you. It aims to reduce the amount of refrigerants used, notably by encouraging supermarkets to install secondary loops, use more ecological refrigerants, and adopt integrated refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems to reduce GHG emissions from fuel burning equipment in their buildings. This program is financed by the Green Fund of the PACC action plan (Plan d’action sur les changements climatiques 2006-2012).

Heavy oil consumption reduction program

Want to improve your energy efficiency? Register for the Heavy oil consumption reduction program. This program allows users of heavy oil to make the move toward sustainable development and to improving improve their competitiveness by reducing fuel oil consumption. Financial aid is available for conducting energy analyses and for implementing energy efficient measures for fuel oil, or for switching to less polluting sources of energy such as natural gas and forest biomass. The program is financed by the Green Fund of the PACC action plan (Plan d’action sur les changements climatiques 2006-2012).

The objective of this planning tool is to provide an exhaustive list of potential sources of funding for managers interested in adopting energy efficient approaches.
